Greetings from abroad!

hillow everyone! things here are alot different than in s'pore. u don't find any highrise buildings at all. haha and the weather is also cool. now, it's getting a little warmer tho. the air is really dry that u lose water to the surroundings unknowingly! training here ain't easy, that's one thing i'm sure about. all of us were looking forward to the weekend so we can relax and unwind abit. i just went to the town this morning. things happen much slower here. one thing impressed all of us was the service culture that is good. s'pore is not anywhere near. u really see the difference. well, thankfully but our dear prime minister has realised it and touched about it during his speech last month. the town here is quite lousy though, nothing much to see. i ate noodles which was priced at 8.80 Aust. that's 3 times more expensive and obviously it didn't taste too good as well. talking abt food, i really miss s'pore food alot! here, u have bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes in the morning, pasta, fries, fish almost every lunch and dinner. haha but i really enjoy the fish here! i've about 2-3 more weeks here to go, hope things back in s'pore is fine. no major accidents or terrorist or whatever not transpired. =) i haven been reading any news at all, so i wouldn't know.
the Lord has been ever so gracious and merciful! i'm thankful to have a room to myself. time spent wif the Lord without anyone disturbing. the accommodation, food and all is very good here. cant ask for more, really. of cos with the good comes the bad as well. here, u can expect them(course mates) having movie marathons, going drinking, playing cards and games which can get really noisy. gd thing my room is far away from that common area. and of cos the fact that u're away from home also makes u feel sad sometimes. miss family(ma's hug especially), friends, church, choir practices, youth mtg... the list goes on =) but the Lord's company been my stay and u know that He is enough to keep u rejoicing and contented! I'm so glad that i have time to read, listen to sermons, do devotions. sweet moments with the our Saviour are precious. especially now when it can get really taxing both mentally and physically when u start to fly. yup, it requires alot of focus n u must be able to pick up and retain what u learn in the precise manner they tell u to. yup, so time with the Lord is so so precious during the week. often, ur mind will be always thinking about flying and trying to correct the procedures u have studied. haha, am i making it sound so difficult? wat i can say is that it requires 100% if u want to do well. but of cos i cant say "God, i will focus on this now and catch up with u later." yup, pls cont keep me in ur prayers as i'm going through this.
well well, let's remind ourselves who are we serving ultimately. remember that He is the one who is our Master! giving and trusting our all to Him in whatever circumstances will allow Him to work the best out of things we can never expect nor think of! let's keep trusting our Lord, as we walk along! remember that children song? just change the let to I haha, people who are under going stressful times like big exams can remember and trust in the Lord as well! Do we choose to trust and have the faith to commit things wholly under His care or are we often taking it back upon ourselves? Don't forget the Lord wants our Best as well. Do all things heartily as unto the Lord and for His Glory!
Hope the church anniversary was a blessing to all! sad i missed it. catch u all some other time again. take care!

my little sharing came from these few verses I have been dwelling on the past week. so i just want to share it with u =)

Ps 37
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.4 Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
