wat happened to blogging?

heya everybody once again!

here's something to make u laugh: try moving your right leg in clockwise direction, making small circles while u draw the number 6 with your right index finger. Can u do it? haha, u will probably be laughing by now. That is one simple thing to tell us we are all finite and limited creatures!

I know it has been long since I have blogged and u will probably be so surprised. Well, it is certainly not because I have nothing to write but just don't get much time in front of the computer to sit and blog. I will try to keep up when i'm in Australia, to update u guys on what is going on there. Anyway, the lastest new to update u is that i will not be leaving this coming sunday anymore! It's because i had problems with my wisdom tooth and had to extract it out. Well, i'm more than happy to stay in Singapore for at least another month. Though the discomfort the dentist caused me is really quite bad, I thank God for allowing this to happen. He has His reasons for it!

Take Time to refresh your hearts with Isaiah 55
1 ''Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. 3 Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you-The sure mercies of David. 4 Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people. 5 Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you. 6 ''Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. 8 ''For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. 9 '' For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 ''For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. 12 "For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the LORD for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.''

How has your walk been? Is the joy and peace from God real or just a transient state of mind u convince yourself into? Read Is 55, seek forgiveness, pray and serve the Lord in truth and purity!

Remember 1 John 1:5-6 ''This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. '' Sometimes we ask ourselves why do we fall often into sin? Well, memorise and keep 1 John 1:5-6 in your hearts

Shall we all cry out to God like what David did
169 Let my cry come before You, O LORD; Give me understanding according to Your word. 170 Let my supplication come before You; Deliver me according to Your word. 171 My lips shall utter praise, For You teach me Your statutes. 172 My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness. 173 Let Your hand become my help, For I have chosen Your precepts. 174 I long for Your salvation, O LORD, And Your law is my delight. 175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise You; And let Your judgments help me. 176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; Seek Your servant, For I do not forget Your commandments.

And may we at the end of it all live to testify Jude 1:24 of God's glory
''Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy''

Food for thought
Sometimes i ask myself if i go to church to worship, and draw closer to God or just to catch up with friends who i have not met the whole week. Let's check ourselves. Do we rush out once the pastor's message is over? Or do we seek precious 'God and I time' and reflect about what the Lord has to teach us in that sermon?
