hillo everyone! haha i decided to post wif a picture to make it more interesting. This is a photo taken during one of the 7 days we had outfield. The M16 rifle I'm holding is real! haha all those guys(who has gone thru army) will be laughing saying wat's the big deal. well well, it was really v gd feeling and interesting firing both blanks and live bullets for the 1st time. It's alot different from wat i played wif in Arcades when i was little, haha. oh another thing to take note is our make up called 'camo on'. yup, we had to wear that for 7 days, not a gd experience to have a layer over ur face for that long! haha but now i understand why some girls like/dislike wearing make-up becos our instructors have frequent spot checks to ensure that our 'make-up' is up to standand haha then when drinking water, we also need to be careful cos the camo cream on our lips will fade. Some of the punishments they gave us for not having proper 'make-up' were push-ups or something more stupid(like drawing funny things on ur face, haha my friend had his face drawn like Bao Jing Tian).
Apparently in this photo, all of us seem to be like very happy and slack rite? like in some holiday camp? also dunno why but our instructors asked us to take photo suddenly when we had some free time. all other ppl didn't have the privilege like we did. thank God for beta instructors as compared to other platoons =) yup, a slice of my army life for u all to read about. look at the trees n grass in the background, those were wat we stared at thru out the 7 days. nice forest-like feeling in the night, wif bright stars and pretty fireflies even. These are the things i appreciated most- God's wondrous work! Life in tekong for the 2 months been an experience cherished but not what i hope to repeat =)
