His Way is Perfect.

have u all heard the song, His Way is Prefect before? It's in the CD "Wondrous Joy' well, why that song? simply becos it's v meaningful and the title already means alot. At first when i heard it, it didnt mean much. somehow in camp when i heard it on the mp3 player, it was so enlightening and heart-warming. wondering how i manage to get the mp3 player in? haha it was YH who passed it to me in camp. It was certainly much a blessing wif him around and dropping by occasionally. It's like so rare to see someone from church and someone close! oh well, back to the song. It blessed my heart cos I was really wondering wat was i doing in tekong. with all the trash, lousy instructors who are unreasonable and do things in ways in which could be done so much more easily. I think their job is to make our lives hard to live in there. Being there was certainly a different experience from any other kind. The culture shock is more than tat of u gg from sec sch to Jc or pri to sec sch. well, having gone thru all of that i only can but say that the Lord been ever so Good n Close to me! I dun want to complain cos it doesnt help and I shall learn to do All things without complaining unto Our Lord! imagine All that Jesus went thru when He was on this wicked n perverse Earth! yup, so the 1st few days, i was really thinking that the time spent in camp could be used so much more worthwhile wif youths- having meetings, discipleship and all! but God made me realised that He has a purpose in all that He put me thru. seriously, I felt tat the discipline, tough training n all taught by the army was basic and like could be taught in a much more pleasant way. =) in fact, i felt what they were doing stupid n reali dumb. haha so u could guess that i was reali feelin like i was reali wasting my time there. then, one of my bunk mate approached me and talked to me abt christianity(i din think that was possible, but God proved that He reali works in ways we never imagine). so my friend said something like I was straight Christian and like dun join them in many of their typical talks n activities. So then i asked him if he was a christian too. he said half free thinker n half christian. anyway, he is a hongkonger n i think since young his parents brought him to church. So then i told him that there was no such thing as a half christian or part time christian. then he replied saying something like he wanted to go another church cos he felt that he did not grow in the present one. so i invited him to my church. he immediately said 'ok'. yup so that was really an eye opener for me. jus a few days only, God is working! he most probably be coming next sunday. his name is Chi Hei- a rather unique name i thot. Thank God for opening my eyes! His way is best n perfect, why cant we just leave it all to Him n not take things into our own hands! Remember, " you are not your own... for you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body'' this applies to anyone anywhere u are!
quiet time in camp have been ever so sweet and precious. God is always there whenever i was. be it in the hot sun or where ever, God is there!
Youths and all dear christians, be encouraged n not be dismayed, for God is real and living. Those back in school, cling n never let go of God. Let us never dwell on things we have done for God but things that could be done if we had followed God closer n totally. Remember u have nothing really to offer God. Draw Near to God n never depart! God doesnt want 80% or 90% but 100%. every min and sec are we living it for Him? or are we guilty of letting our hair down n not taking God seriously at certain slots of the time in a day? The ans to many is yesyes. we are guilty! so let us strive to give Him our All!

I have got to go already. soon i will be in camp again. it's quite dreadful i cant deny but i can take Joy n comfort that God is in Control n has a plan! I pray n trust the Lord will take care of all of u. His children n sheeps. praying for u esp---- my dear youths ministry! i remember u, yes esp u reading this now =)
